Job Responsibilities:
- Professional, polite and courteous to the company’s internal and external customers at all times promoting the excellent image and reputation of the company.
- Assist customers in locating and selecting the appropriate spare parts for their needs.
- Answer customer inquiries regarding product availability, pricing, and compatibility.
- Process sales transactions accurately using the store's point-of-sale system.
- Receive incoming shipments of spare parts and verify the accuracy of the delivery.
- Assist in unpacking, sorting and shelving parts according to the store's organisational system.
- Conduct regular stock checks and assist in maintaining accurate inventory records.
- Notify management of low stock levels and assist with reordering supplies as needed.
- Help with the assembly, packaging, and labelling of spare parts as required.
- Assist in maintaining security measures to prevent theft and ensure the safety of the store assets.
- Ensure that the store and warehouse areas are kept clean, organised and free of safety hazards.
- Sweep, mop and dust the sales floor and storage areas as needed.
- Keep shelves, displays and product labels neat and presentable.
- Dispose of packaging materials and cardboard boxes in designated recycling areas.
- Inspect goods received for quantity and quality standards as per the already established procedures.
- Verify and check items received against catalogues and manufacturer’s identification and models.
- Check regularly the inventory levels and prepare requisitions to replenish the stock.
- Perform stock inventories and maintain all related records for inventory control and future estimates on the designated systems.
- Organise for deliveries of products as and when required.
- Perform Store transfers and transactions on SAP.
Qualification & Experience:
- Minimum SC
- Computer Literate
- Ability to work odd hours and under pressure
- Good attitude
- Dynamic and motivated
- High sense of integrity
- Reference from previous employers is required
