Job Responsibilities:

 

Security Control:

 

  • Monitor and control access to the company compound to prevent unauthorized entry.
  • Perform regular security patrols within the compound to ensure the safety of the premises.
  • Respond promptly to any security alarms or incidents, reporting and recording any security breaches or concerns.
  • Maintain clear and accurate records of security incidents and activities.
  • Operate and monitor security systems, including CCTV cameras and alarm systems.
  • Liaise with local law enforcement and emergency services when necessary.

 

Maintenance Work:

 

  • Conduct routine inspections of the compound to identify any maintenance issues or safety hazards.
  • Perform minor repairs and maintenance tasks such as painting, carpentry, plumbing and electrical work.
  • Ensure all maintenance tools and equipment are kept in good working condition and stored securely.
  • Assist in the setup and teardown of company events or activities within the compound.
  • Coordinate with external contractors for larger maintenance projects as needed.
  • Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the compound, including waste management and landscaping duties.
  • Document and report any maintenance work completed or required.

 

General Duties:

  • Respond to maintenance requests from employees promptly and efficiently.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times.
  • Provide excellent customer service to employees, visitors and contractors.
  • Assist with other duties as assigned by the Senior Maintenance Technician or Asset & Project Manager.

 

Qualification & Experience:

 

  • At least Form IV
  • Proven experience in a similar role.
  • Basic knowledge of security procedures and maintenance practices.
  • Proficiency in using hand and power tools.
  • Ability to perform physical labor and lift heavy objects as required.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Valid driving license (motorcycle) may be required.
  • A Clean Certificate of Character is a must
