Job Responsibilities:
- Perform all Tyre Bay Management and new tyres administrative duties and assist the Business Unit Head on a daily basis.
- Implement and monitor the procurement strategy of the retread and new tyre segment of the Company and coordinate all procurement activities.
- Ensure the efficiency and monitoring of the TBM operation at Emcar level and at the customers' sites.
- Ensure a close follow up on all Health & Safety measures as per the Company policy.
- Capture data from delivery notes for invoicing purposes.
- On line processing of invoices - Responsible for release of invoice runs.
- Send out price increase notifications.
- Prepare documentation required for customs and export as and when required.
- Provide BU Head with accurate data for preparation of yearly budgets.
- Provide customers with excellent service and assist in the inventory control and overall efficient running of the stores as well as maintaning a high standard of safety and housekeeping.
- Follow up with TBM customers ensuring that level of expectations are met.
- Handle change orders and cancellations.
- Close monitoring of debtors and ensure customers effect payment according to Company's credit facility.
- Ascertain product and transport availability - check stocks and provide customer with delivery date.
- Follow up on customer queries (price, pattern design, delivery date, time etc.).
- Contribute to the growth and profitability of Emcar Tyres.
- Assist with proper cash flow management i.e. petty cash.
- Conduct end of month procedures.
- Handle change orders and cancellations.
Qualification & Experience:
- HSC or equivalent
- Diploma / Degree in Engineering or in a related field
- At least 5 years’ experience in Retread and New Tyres business operations
- Excellent communication skills both English and French
- Sound knowledge of Microsoft Office tools
- Ambitious and target focused with a drive to succeed
- Proven track record in tyre business
- Clean Certificate of Character is a must
- Valid driving license
