Undisputedly the best Mauritian trail runner, Vishal Ittoo started running at the age of 15. This self-coached champion’s willingness and perseverance to train has made him the best Mauritian runner on any distance since the first edition of the Royal Raid 4 years ago.
His many victories include the Ferney Trail and the Yanature/Salomon competition amongst others. In his most recent race, the 35 km Royal Raid trail, he came in second only 5 minutes behind the winner, a professional Runner from the Official
